Jenna Damberger is a costume designer and technician based in Buffalo, NY, working across theater, opera, and film. Her practice blends creative vision with deep technical expertise, and she often serves as both designer and shop manager on the same production. Her skills include draping, millinery, wardrobe supervision, and costume construction. Whether designing full productions or supporting backstage infrastructure, she brings precision, generosity, and a collaborative spirit to every project.

Jenna is the co-founder of tweed.pro, a digital toolkit created to support costume professionals, university shops, and freelancers with inventory tracking, measurement organization, and fitting notes. Built directly from her experience in the shop, tweed.pro reflects her commitment to tools that support creative flow, communication, and production clarity.

She has designed and built work for companies including Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Road Less Traveled Productions, Theatre of Youth, Second Generation Theatre, Ujima Company, and Buffalo Opera Unlimited. Her technical and wardrobe experience includes roles at Dorset Theatre Festival, Commonwealth Shakespeare Festival, Great Lakes Theater Festival, and others. She is a two-time Artie Award winner for Outstanding Costume Design (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Illusion), and was nominated in 2019 for The Authentic Life of Billy the Kid.

Jenna is an Adjunct Faculty member at Niagara University, where she also serves as Costume Shop Manager. She is the Instructor of Costume Design at Interlochen Arts Camp, a premier summer program for emerging theater artists. Her work across education and production is grounded in intention, clear communication, and the belief that storytelling flourishes when people feel seen and supported.
